Frequently Asked Questions

Q.   Why should I choose B&B Manufacturing over the competition?

A.  The reasons are many:

  • Because you save time and money, and wind up with a safer, more dependable, and higher quality vehicle. Read about each of our vehicle kits by clicking on the "About..." links to the right of this text.
  • We use all new parts (such as the gas tank, front suspension, etc.) and provide a finished vehicle typically of much greater appraised value than the competition without jacking up the initial price tag.
  • We place safety and quality first when choosing parts for our 5.0 Mustang donor kit. We discourage the "junk yard roadster" approach that other popular manufacturers embrace--and we still wind up costing less than the competition!
  • We ship our chassis already assembled to whatever degree possible and desired by you.
  • We use reliable, new Ford™ components.
  • We offer a 12-month guarantee.
  • Throughout your build and beyond, you'll enjoy our superior, friendly, knowledgeable and dedicated service. Ask around--our reputation is rock solid.
  • We could go on and on here. Give us a call at 417-472-3547 or check us out on the Club Cobra Forum and read about our great reputation for safety, high quality, great service and great prices.

Q.   How does the kit arrive?

A.  Your kit will arrive assembled to whatever degree possible and desired by you.  A list of parts is included along with a Photograph prior to shipping. We will be happy to arrange shipping for you or you can make your own arrangements.

Q.   How long does it take to build?

A.  In our shop, with good experienced mechanics, it takes about three weeks to build--and 100 Miles of "tweaking" or "sorting" out the kinks. It will take you longer to build and sort depending upon your level of experience, training, and drive--but we're here to help! Give us a call whenever you get into a bind!

Q.   What kind of quality does a B&B kit have?

A.  Our superior quality is exactly what you'd expect from a reputable, big-name auto shop. It's obvious after only one test drive when there are no shakes, no rattles and no surprises--just the incredible sensory overload of raw power, speed and beauty! Call us and we'll set up a meeting with another B&B owner near you so you can see for yourself. *Click HERE to ask others at the Club Cobra Forum web site too.

Q.   Why should I choose a B&B turnkey vehicle over the competition?

A.  Because if you want to drive it, it's got to be driveable and dependable. Many Roadster Kits are "Show" cars intended to be trailered and not touched, while others are "Race" cars and not really practical for daily driving. B&B specializes in a very comfortable, dependable, safe driving car.  The B&B roadster uses all Ford™ components with no modifications. This equates to durability, reliability, and easy maintenance. It also means that, should you ever need to add or replace anything, you can find parts almost anywhere in the world.

Makes You Want To Hit The Road Huh?

Q.   What will it cost to complete?

A.  We know you'll find that you can get a very basic turn key roadster from most manufacturers for about $28,500 --or complete a similar kit for around $22,000. As you add performance parts and "bling" to your  Roadster it will obviously begin to cost more. A typical completed roadster from any manufacturer, with good horsepower and "bling", will cost around  $32,000.  At B&B, we offer a better vehicle for less money when you take into consideration the fact that we use all NEW parts, our reputation for safety, high quality, and our superior, friendly, knowledgeable and dedicated service. You've actually discovered the one manufacturer who is second to none.
